The Autobiography is getting a new look!

Out with the old...

In with the new!

I am changing the title for The Autobiography: An Eternal Rite of Passage, due to an overload of titles beginning with “The Autobiography.” The overabundance of historian biographies made finding my mystery thriller next to impossible on a search. The new title is a shorter version of the old one, with a twist: Eternal Write of Passage.

The process is slow, since I am careful to list everywhere the book is posted so when I make the change it will be all in a day.

While I’m at it, the book is getting a face lift. I have been playing with a design for a cover and think I’ve got a good one, what do you think? It isn’t that I was unhappy with the other cover; I just think this one better fits the story.

I’ll be making a quick change to the cover of Abigail’s Cries as well, since my artistic daughter-in-law took a photo not too long ago that resembled the exact cover image that I had in mind a few years ago. I’ll give a sneak peek below.

So it’s like redecorating the house. Lots of preparation, thought and of course work, but I think it’s a good change.

Watch for the new version in the next few weeks.

Happy Reading!

Homer Davenport Community Festival

We had a wonderful time at the Homer Davenport community Festival linking up with other authors and sharing our work with book lovers, gaining new fans and friends. We would like to thank the community for this opportunity. The beautiful town of Silverton is filled with wonderful people who made us feel welcomed.

This year I shared a booth with Diane Hunt Stockmar With her book, Reservations For One in Hell. It is a romantic thriller about a high school reunion that had gone bad.

Next year we are hoping to include Cynthia Robbins with her book: The Light Warrior. A sci-fi with a blend of reality, myth, magic and science.

I’m crossing my fingers that we can include, Nick Gray with a fascinating fantasy about a boy who is lost in an imaginary world, created to escape his life of pain. As well as Mary Jo Nyssen with her book: A Colorful Journey Through the Land of Talking Letters. A fabulous book designed for children to learn their sounds.

Due to the success of this year’s booth, in the coming year, we would like to see this author list grow and plan to interview others to create an author’s booth at this event. If there are enough local participants, we may be able to set up an hourly reading as well. Watch my blog in the coming month for an announcement and application.

Bridled Secret is Finished!

For those of you who have been waiting, my new novella; Bridled Secret is finished. I will have it out on kindle within the week and on nook shortly after. It will also be included in Troubled Lives: An Anthology of Novella’s, which will not be out until later this summer if you care to wait for that. You’ll find more information on my website www.bdnelsonlittrell.com

The Fair was a great success! I met so many wonderful people and like last year, found that finding new friends was worth far more than could be expected. I look forward to an upcoming luncheon meeting with Diane Hunt-Stockmar who wrote Reservations for One in Hell, a romantic thriller. I snagged a handful of her brochures to hand out to those who’d like a copy of her book. It’s also available on amazon.com both in hardcopy and kindle edition.

Next I’m off to the Mint Festival that will be held in Jefferson Oregon on July 15, 16, and 17th (Friday-Saturday-Sunday). I will have plenty copies of my books to sign, hope to see you all there! Don’t forget that 5% of the proceeds for my novel Abigail’s Cries, goes to the Children's Trust Fund of Oregon for the prevention of child abuse. And 5% of the proceeds for my book You Too Can Quit go to the American Lung Association of Oregon. Both causes work hard to change lives. Thanks so much for those who contribute to these causes.

Happy Reading Everyone!
